My Lovely Ladies
Jill and Gina's wedding anniversary is today. It was 3 years ago when all our family and friends flew out from Ohio, to celebrate their lesbian love...ha! Seriously though, it was awesome. My parents rented a huge yacht in Marina Del Rey and reserved a bunch of bungalows, across the street, for everyone to stay. We partied all weekend long, enjoying the rare moment of everyone being together in Los Angeles. Our LA friends participated in the celebration as well. Ben performed the ceremony; Mark, David, Cle, Mark and Luciano wore sailor outfits to gay it up even more; and everybody else gathered for support because they are loved and respected by many. It was a huge party, one that will never be forgotten. We were dancing maniacs and happy drunks, celebrating the promises that Jill and Gina made to each other earlier that day.
Jill and Gina are one of those couples who are just a natural fit. When I look at them, observing how much they love each other, it makes me happy because I know these relationships do exist. They miss one another constantly, Jill literally begs Gina to stay home. When they are apart, the phone or instant message is the next best option. They both realize how lucky they are to have one another and it's comforting to be around that. They bring happiness into a room, when people see them together. It's true love, a kind that will never go away. They've built quite a life for themselves, one that I feel so fortunate to be apart of...literally, they can't get rid of me! I just love them so much. They are a huge part of who I am today because of their love and support. They are my relationship role models. I see what they have and I want nothing less. They inspire me to want to wait for that special lady. They unknowingly create that possibility for me and I am very grateful for that. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!
